Highly recommended place to stay. It is actually called Tangkoko guesthouse. The tangkoko safety shop is a place on the beach which serves delicious lunches and dinners and their guides for the jungle trip are the best: Renny and Lea. Tangkoko guesthouse works closely together with Renny 's safety shop. Pacha, the owner, of tangkoko guesthouse is very helpful and friendly. Pacha arranged a 'mobile taxi' for 30.000 rp per person to Bitung area from where you can get a grab or indrive ride to your next destination. The rooms are big, hot shower(!!!), great breakfast with omelet to set you off for your morning jungle trip. Great view from my balcony, room on the first floor, of the part.watching the birds flying. Good WiFi.

Terrific place for divers. My liveaboard sent a boat to pick me up from the lodge, so cool! People at the lodge are super helpful. The place is tidy, clean, peaceful and comfortable. The place has a very well-equipped professional dive shop, with very knowledgeable DMs who guide a maximum of 2 divers. Perfect for photographers.

Tangkoko Ranger Homestay offers accommodation in Bitung. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. You will find dry cleaning services at the property.

The best part of Tangkoko Ranger Homestay is it's location - it's just opposite the entrance of the national park. You can't ask for a better location. The room itself was basic but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Most importantly, Alfrets is super prompt when responding to questions and he booked all our treks into the national park. Super easy to deal with. Would recommend.

The rooms had a very european feel, great if you had a couple of rough days in more adventurous places and just want some comfort. Food we ordered in the room was also good and very reasonably priced.

Location is great, easy access to beach/water, great views of the main island with its volcanoes from the whole property. Spacious bungalow with a proper porch and hammock. Surrounded by jungle sounds including tarsiers! Very friendly staff that are always up for a laugh. Food was good, also vegetarian friendly. Very knowledgeable dive staff.
