Sometimes it is the people who make a place truly special. At Bintang Wisata Riung we were warmly welcomed by the owners. They are not just friendly, they are genuinely kind and truly care about making you feel comfortable. One real highlight: the owner has his own boat and offers private tours to the 17 Islands. It was an experience we will not forget. Snorkelling at beautiful spots, crystal clear water, almost no other people, and flying foxes in the trees. Moments that really stay with you. The barbecue on a small island was simply fantastic. Fresh fish, plenty of food, and absolutely delicious. It was personal, relaxed, and far away from mass tourism. The accommodation was good, clean, and perfectly fine for our stay. The breakfast was rich and varied. Everything fit together perfectly and we felt completely at ease. If you are looking for more than just a place to stay in Riung and want real experiences, Bintang Wisata Riung is exactly the right choice. We can recommend this place from the heart.

The hosts were extremely kind and took the time to chat with us. They arranged everything to ensure our stay was wonderful. The rooms, which have been completely renovated, are very clean. The bathroom is spacious and has an excellent hot shower with good water pressure. The small number of reviews is due to the recent renovation of the rooms.

Many thanks to the warm, helpful hosts! Most reviews praised the breakfast and we can confirm it, it is superb. The rooms are practically furnished, there are a small supermarket and restaurants nearby. The port is within walking distance. It is the perfect accommodation before and after a highly recommended 17 islands tour.

We had a great stay with Paul and his family! The rooms are really clean, have aircon and the garden is beautiful. Paul will do his best to help with everything and can organise a boat trip for the guests. The breakfast was yummy and theres a cute cat you can hang out with :)

This brand new place is held by a wonderfull indonesian couple. Very welcoming and helpfull. A few little suggestions to improve customiser experience (like: add a few hangers) but no real big deal. Additionnally Nas' wife is a really good cooker and it is one of the best places where I've had diner on Indonesia. She should propose host table. Very clean. Good bed.

The place is very new, pretty and clean. Bungalows are spacious yet cozy. The owners are very kind and friendly. My husband joined Armando and his friends jamming in the harbour's restaurant which was a lot of fun. His dutch wife is very caring and makes excellent oatmeal and dutch pancakes for breakfast. It was a welocomed change after so many banana pancaces and eggs. :) Much recommended place to stay in Riung.

The highlight of our stay were the modest and quietly spoken hosts, Tommy and Cia. Tommy organised scooter hire and our boat trip with snorkelling around the 17 Islands on my birthday. Then, I had an unexpected surprise when Cia’s sister arrived with a beautiful birthday cake for me! A friend in a town an hours drive away had made it! What incredible generosity. The rooms are quite new, spacious and clean. It’s very quiet, on the outskirts of town, about a 25 minute walk from the harbour, but it feels so safe at night walking home, with lovely locals keen to practice their English on you. We had good local food at Rico Rico bar on the harbour (live music), Rutong cafe and Pato Resto cafe. On the scooters we visited Sambirandak Beach, Berek beach, and Watu mitong lookout.
