The owner and his wife were extremely nice and kind people. The room was simple but clean and it had the perfect view over the Moni village. Couple of rare restaurants were in close proximity. Breakfast was superb and big. We got fresh fruits everyday. There was even a hot shower in the bathroom. I recommend 100%

Orfin is a great host! He’s so friendly and helpful. We had a great time with him, playing games, enjoying music and cooking together. The bungalows are nice and clean and there’s a big garden. The overall feeling here is very relaxed. The location is close to places to eat and can also rent a scooter at the bungalow. Would definitely recommend!

Everything. One of the nicest and most relaxing places we stayed in Indonesia. The bungalow itself was stunning, especially the outdoor bathroom, and the location in the gardens was great. However it was the people who really made our short stay at the Geckos. Lopez, Rio and the rest of the family were charming, entertaining and so hospitable to all of us staying. We loved sitting about chatting and enjoying the wonderful food in the evening time. Lopez taught us so much about the cultures and traditions of people on Flores and was fascinating to talk with. Also, the breakfast banana pancake was the best we had in Indonesia. Thanks so much for a memorable stay and we can’t wait to visit again in the future.
