Accommodation in Kri

The best bangalo I've stayed in Raja Ampat. There are four well-equipped bangalos facing the ocean where you can enjoy chilling on the hammock or snorkeling whenever you want and two decent shared bathrooms (with a shower, a shampoo and a shower gel) and two clean toilets. You don't need to walk on the sand to get to the bathroom or to the toilet. You can see beautiful corals, reef and lots of diverse fish...and sometimes sharks and turtles nearby. This place is also walkable to Yenbuba jetty that is very popular for snorkeling and also diving and reachable to several famous snorkelingor divingspot. It's better stay here rather than busy Kri Island because it's very close to Kri from here. Food is very delicious and they always keep the restaurant clean and tidy. Beds are very comfortable with luxurious white mosquito nets. The powerful fans are also great. Mima who used to work at big companies is really professional at work and very friendly and helpful. She's an amazing swimmer and a diver too. Even though you're traveling alone, you won't feel lonely thanks to her company. You'll feel at home for sure. Indra, Ringo, Olin, and all the people here are genuinely nice and kind. You can listen to guitar playing and singing of Ringo who used to be a guitarist and a singer of a band! There are so many advantages and reasons to stay at Mansuar Raja Ampat Bangalo. It's not easy to book here, so if you can find an availability, you're blessed!:) Highly recommended♡♡♡I'll definitely come back here.

The location is perfect, close to the most beautiful dive spots. Food was really good and staff is super friendly. They try really hard to make your stay comfortable.

We had a fantastic time with Rima Homestay. They are a beautiful family who really care about ensuring you have a pleasant stay and we felt super comfortable being there for the week. Rima is a brilliant cook/host and makes delicious meals everyday. We thought there was good variety in the food given where the homestay is, and there was always plenty of it throughout the entire stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean and we didn't have any problems with rats or electricity during the nighttime. They have a beautiful communal decking area with world class snorkelling right next to the homestay where you can see turtles, reef sharks and beautiful fish. The whole family really goes out of their way to help you with anything that you need despite there being a small language barrier, including boat taxis too and from the dive centre that we used whenever we wanted dropping off or picking up. I highly recommend Rima Homestay if you are planning to visit Kri Island. We would love to return one day!

Perfect place, perfect staff, great food, great snorkeling!

We had a truly unforgettable romantic getaway at this jungle retreat! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and blended seamlessly with nature, offering a cozy and intimate atmosphere with all the amenities we needed. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of the jungle—perfect for enjoying quiet moments together. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a wonderful variety of fresh, local options amidst the tranquil jungle setting. Overall, it was an amazing experience and the perfect escape for a romantic retreat.

The bungalows are very new with all the comfort you need, our best bungalow in our 15 days journey in Raja Ampat. Hot shower, starlink wifi, amazing sunset, very quiet, amazing food cooked by a chef and the most important for us : one of the best coral reef right in front of the bungalow. The owner Yves did everything for us and the staff was very professional and friendly. We learnt many things about the local life and Papou culture. It is also a dive center, it was my best diving : perfectly organized with great equipment and very professional with a delicious snack between dives. That was perfect, we highly recommend this place and only regret having to leave!

Totally AMAZING stay! The accommodation, facilities and service was uncomparable to the other homestays (we tried 5 during our trip to Raja Ampaat). The price for both accomodation and excursions are 2-3 times more expensive than other homestays, but the experience was absolutely worth it! So if you have the budget, we definitely recommend it. The bungalow had an amazing view, it’s own toilet and regular shower with warm water (normal standard here at Raja Ampaat is shared toilet and cold bucket showers). The bed was great and you had a fan. Electricity and wifi 24/7. The only downside we could find was that the bungalow is covered to provide shadow so if you want to get a tan, you need to go to the pier (which we did and enjoyed!). The house reef was amazing and we saw lot of corals, fishes, turtles, sharks and in the area it was possible to see dugongs. We saw whales on the way back to Waisai from their place. The food was delicious, perfect combinations of western and indonesian food. Breakfast served as à la carte at the bungalow, and lunch and dinner served in the restaurant (three courses for both lunch and dinner!). The staff and the owner was very serviceminded and went the extra mile of trying to find both dugongs and cuscus for us in the nearby area. The owner is from Holland so the communcation was both good and fast, which made us feel very safe and informed. We could borrow snorkeling gear for free and they also arranged lunch on the departure day which was highly appreciated. We definitely recommend this place to everyone and we would love to come back one day!

The best homestay on Kri Island. And the best we had in Raja Ampat in general. Amazing guys at the dive center! They do everything to suit your wishes and they promote eco responsible diving/snorkeling. Great base to do half day trips to amazing dive/snorkeling sites. They have a new generator so there is electricity from 6PM to 6AM. Great because it gets hot and you need a fan at night! Also good WIFI when electricity is on. Nice beds to lay outside on the veranda. Snorkeling right outside of the door. They sell cold beer and coke. They have a system (notice board) which makes it easy for you to share trips with other guests, which is a real bonus. Very helpfull in arranging transportation. Food is the best for any homestay we had. Everyday fish and chicken. Veggies. Soup. Fruit. Book ahead! Bring cash.

Perfect location, a good stay, very nice wooden houses. Rio is a perfect bridge between the owner family and your needs, wants, questions. He will help you the best he can to make your stay there unforgetable.

Beautiful location. Everybody is so kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here. The view is breathtaking 😍 I stayed for a week and was sad when I had to leave. I enjoyed the dives with divemaster Abang. The food was delicious. Bucket showers and back to basics, I really loved the entire experience so much! Thank you Herman, Nani, Abang and the rest of the staff for such an amazing stay on Kri Iskand! 🙏🥰

Mesak and his family welcomed us like their own. Mesak is the kindest person on earth he’ll take you wherever you want and do absolutely anything for you! We visited a tiny, paradise-like beach all to ourselves. I especially recommend trips with Mesak whatever you dream up, he’ll make it happen. On top of that, it’s also a way to support him financially, as he puts his whole heart and his own money into this place. He’ll sing for you, tell you a joke, and truly make your experience unforgettable. He made me feel that when I return to Raja Ampat, it will only be to him. And the place itself? Clean, well maintained, and with delicious food! We are going to miss Mesak so much.

This is a nice place to stay if you want good location (on Turtle beach) and ensuite bathroom, for reasonable price. I was in the new wooden bungalow, which was spacious, with private bathroom. Big plus: the door could be locked! Nice view from the porch. Very sweet staff, trying to accomodate your wishes for meals at their best. Local staff speaks limited English (use Google Translate). You can always contact the owner via WhatsApp/WhatsApp call, they are friendly and helpfull. Little or no WIFI. Bring local data (e.g. Telkomsel).

Great Location, super nice and friendly family, you can tell they are just starting but they put lots of effort to make us feel at home, we booked 2 nights and we stayed 6.

There are many snorling spots in Raja Ampat but for me the best spot was right in front of this stay!! The location of the homestay is amazing, not too busy and not too quiet. And within half an hour you can be at the hiking point of Kri. The room is very spacious and clean, and the food was exceptional! Eko (owner) is amazing, he was always there for us making sure that we will feel at home. Whenever you need him he will respond very quickly making sure that we will be taking good care of. Even at the end of our stay he made sure that we safely got to the hotel and even fixed a taxi ride for us. We highly recommend this homestay, we felt so at home! 🤩

Amazing family, place, food, and services !

Very basic bungalows but wow what a place, we really enjoyed our stay. Super location, terrace over the water, great views. Deliscious local meals. Kind people there, fair prices (for Raya Ampat) on tours and transfer to other islands.

WE LOVED OUR STAY!!! From the staff to the food, everything was exceptional. The manager Acho was so nice and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Ilona the cook was a sweetheart and the food was delicious. The bedroom felt really cozy and the bed was great. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic stay! Only three bungalows, but in really good shape and great bed. Beautiful view, no mosquitoes, good snorkeling, and really good food. Also karaoke one evening. 😄
