Tommy was really exceptional to make our stay enjoyable. Really recommend to stay here. The room is cleaned and well presented. Cold shower but the weather is so warm here that it is refreshing. Closed to the pier with a motorcycle.

This property is incredible in an isolated spot outside Ruing. We had our own transport so easy to get there and leave. They have kayaks that you can use to explore the bay and enjoy time snorkelling on your own. The owner and his wife could not do enough for us. Hospitality was incredible. On our last night we were woken by a 7.7 earthquake just off the shore. It was incredibly scary but our accommodation held up to the shakes and shudders. The owner went out of his way to make sure we were ok and other guests. Providing information constantly. This place is a true gem and I would definitely go back. The view from the balcony was sensational and enjoying dinners in the eating area with other guests and staff was a true pleasure.

This was the most special accommodation we experienced in all of Indonesia (we traveled through Sumatra, Java, and Bali). It truly is a hidden gem. The beautifully designed and constructed cabin sits high in the mountains, offering complete privacy and breathtaking views over a valley with a gently flowing river and rice terraces surrounded by trees. The bathroom is exceptional—outdoor, carved from stone, and crafted with incredible attention to detail. It feels like something out of a design magazine. The bed is comfortably protected by a large mosquito net, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. In the morning, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast served on a higher hill, right in the middle of nature. It included freshly baked bread, homemade marmalades, and delicious fresh fruits. Dinner is also available and highly recommended. The family hosting the property is incredibly kind and makes you feel truly at home. From Tanawatu Hill, we visited the hot springs in Soa and, the following day, the Bena village—both wonderful experiences. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something unique and unforgettable.

I stayed for two nights. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with a bed mosquito net. Mentos is such a sweet and attentive host. Also, I could arrange with him a nice snorkeling boat trip to the 17 Islands Park which is a must. Great breakfast btw! Overall, best place to stay in Riung! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
