Accommodation in New Ross

Nicely located on the side of a hill on the outskirts of town. Has a country club feel about it. Good reception and check in. Good service and staff. All on one level, spacious clean and welcoming .Comfortable attractive rooms. Small handy snack machine in hall. Attractive and comfortable dining and bar area inside. Also enjoy a meal or maybe a guiness or Irish whisky in the spacious forecourt taking in the sun in the afternoon with distant views beyond the Barrow River A very enjoyable breakfast in separate area inside. A short walk into town by the lower main road or up the slope at the end of hotel driveway and in to town past a small supermarket nice corner shop and along past the three bullet gate, town wall (road) and tower ruin, nice little pub opposite the park and on to the historic St Mays church and Abbey ruins and meander down into town and the wharf area.(most shops closed on Sunday)

Inishross was a wonderful introduction to Ireland after 2 long flights. We were treated to a very clean room, a comfortable bed with crisp linen with our own ensuite. Next morning we were stunned by the very generous Irish breakfast. Bridget and her son were gracious hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were so helpful, with Mark managing our bags and pointing us in the right direction. The building frontage is quite deceiving. Once you step through the door, another world of gracious times in a bygone era opens up. Thank you Bridget and Mark for a delightful few days. Yvonne and Paula

It was a beautiful tranquil place to stay

From arrival to departure, we were so well taken care of by the most hospitable Patricia. The whole place inside and out exudes a whimsical old world charm that felt special to be part of for the weekend. The interiors are a masterclass in colour, good taste, and creating inspiring and cosy environments. The breakfasts were a delicious feast of lovingly prepared, wholesome foods in the beautiful dining room of Cullintra House. No detail was overlooked, and our hostess was like no other we've ever experienced. This is service and hospitality on another level. Make sure to explore the 4000 year old Cairn up the mountainside, and enjoy as much of this spectacular place you can while you're there. 5 stars all round, and we will definitely be returning next year.

My husband and daughter stayed for a week in January. It was warm and cosy. The garden was lovely, well kept. Parking was ample. They said the accommodation was great and beds were comfortable. They didn't find any faults with it. They would definitely stay again.

The house was fabulous inside and out . The host was lovely let my kids play with her kids swings and toys beautiful area really enjoy our stayed .will definitely go back if up that direction again .thank you so much

Lovely hosts. Lovely location. Peaceful, comfortable, well provided house. Personal 1st: a complimentary bottle of decent white wine. During dangerously hot weather, the cottage was fairly easy to keep cool. The sea a short walk away - public toilets discreetly placed between Slade & the beach. Places of historical interest, places of natural beauty, places to enjoy nature are nearby. A regular bus service provides transport. Everyone we met proved to be pleasant and friendly. My husband, a keen fisherman, was very satisfied with the local sea fishing. We're contented, rested, and reluctant to leave
