This guesthouse meets every need a guest could wish for, making it the perfect place to relax. The sandy beaches as well as the center of Mathiveri (market, fantastic bakery etc.) are just a short walk from Velana Vibes. The place is new, clean and well cared for. The design is thoughtful - functional, but also ensuring privacy for guests. But what makes Velana Vibes truly special... are the people. Munzir, the owner, is the soul of the place and Imma, the manager, is its heart. We have never met such a sincere and genuinely warm team. That includes the friendly owner, the incredibly dedicated manager and the always-helpful kitchen staff. They all put their whole hearts into making our stay special and unforgettable - and they succeeded! They were always there if we had questions. They organized everything - whether it was a golf cart tour of the island, snorkeling, fishing, fish barbecues or filming us on jet ski with a drone - and made our holidays even more enjoyable. Personally, I would like to give special thanks to Imma for the private snorkeling lesson :-) I can’t swim, but he offered to help me so that I also could see the underwater world - and he kept his promise. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, he took me and my family to a calm beach where we snorkeled together. I will never forget the experience of my very first snorkel, where I felt completely safe the whole time! At Velana Vibes, we enjoyed the comfort of a good hotel, but among the team, we felt at home - surrounded by people who genuinely wanted the best for us. Everyone made sure our stay in this wonderful place was unique and unforgettable. Although we usually don’t return to the same place twice, we truly hope to come back to Velana Vibes someday. THANK YOU for your hospitality, incredible dedication, warm atmosphere and the unforgettable time we shared with you! Because even though we visited Mathiveri during the rainy season - with you the sun was always shining! :)

Simply put, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is probably the best you can get in Mathiveri. It is brand new, with very nice, bright, well equipped, and clean rooms. The personnel did their best to make our stay great. The included breakfast was excellent, with plenty of quality food. Dinner can be also served at the hotel, and it was delicious (offers wider selection, but we focused mainly on grilled reef fish). Good restaurants nearby. The hotel has a convenient location, too. The 3 minutes’ walk to the bikini beach (which is amazing!) through a very nice forest path (that offers protection from sun burns). Highly recommended.

The room was spotless, with brand-new furnishings (as of February 2025). The towels and bedding were high quality, and the ample seating area added to the comfort. The manager lady was exceptionally responsive and communicated flawlessly in English, making our arrival stress-free and reassuring. The room's soundproofing was remarkable—despite a short birthday party directly above us one night, barely any noise filtered through. Peaceful neighborhood with few mosquitoes. The air conditioner was placed in a small corridor leading to the bathroom, cleverly positioned away from the bed for a more restful night, which was appreciated. The bathroom was modern, with a spacious and comfortable shower, plenty of hot water, and well-stocked amenities, including high-quality shower gel and items like toothbrushes. Filtered drinking water was available when needed. Breakfast, though simple, was fresh and of good quality. I recommend trying the local coconut-tuna mixture spread over buttered roti. The attentive staff welcomed us at the harbor and took care of us throughout our stay. The highlight of our trip was a snorkeling excursion led by the friendly and knowledgeable Mr. Shah. His genuine warmth and care for our experience made it unforgettable. In a couple of hours, we swam with a manta ray, explored a vibrant coral reef, and encountered large sharks and a stingray. Ali Shah is a warm-hearted host and a fun company.

As far as local islands on Maldives go, this is one of my favorites! And this accommodation is just great. Right next to bikini beach, nice little courtyard, nice rooms (we were in one facing the yard), free coffee, cleaning every day,..etc. Villa is operated by Captal tourist agency, which are by far best for excursions and other stuff here. We had a wonderful time. Food in Captal restaurant is great also, especially grilled reef fish!

Reema and her staff really exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality: - rooms were cleaned and beds were changed every day - Fresh drinking water every day - Host answering dozens of questions in no time - Comfortable beds, hot water, air conditioning - Very nice design of the rooms - We arranged a fishing trip which was enjoyable

Very good food, enough in compare to other guest houses in Maldives. Our accommodation was located in Sunset Beach Stay. Very close to fabolous Beach with free sunbeds. We had everything what we needed. Our host was very friendly and helpful!

I am not at all surprised that this accommodation has such a high rating. I am very glad that we chose this accommodation during our stay on the island of Mathiveri. The owner is very nice, friendly and helpful in everything. The room was beautiful, clean. Breakfast was classic Maldivian, simple. We went snorkeling through the accommodation. Fantastic! Thank you to everyone who participated in our trip to the Maldives and I definitely recommend this accommodation.

The accomodation was very clean and well equiped. There was a fridge in our room, we got watter every day. Breakfast is very tasty and you can eat as much as you want. People there are nice and friendly. They helped us to book speedboat (it is cheaper than if you book it on your own), waited in the harbour, took baggage to the accomodation, explained everything and they were here for us during the whole stay. I highly reccomend this accomodation!

Vacanza Mathiveri was the best accomodation we had in Maldives. Great room, amazing food and very friendly staff. Amazing manta snorkeling trip - We saw many mantas without other tourists compared to other boats. I highly recommend to stay there! The restaurant with dinners served the best food!!! ❤️❤️❤️
