MalaysiaThis property had been open only a few months before we stayed. It was exactly what I was looking for. A relaxing staycation that is near enough to home (in KL) but far enough to feel different. We had a great time chatting with the staff. Every morning started with exercising (cycling for my husband who brought his bicycle; and walking/jogging for me. We were lucky with the weather and the daily breeze helps us feel fresh and healthy. We had the daily breakfast, which is standard hotel fare (my favourite is the crispy hash browns). We had dinner there that was really delicious, a substantial tuna wrap, and a fusion twist on laksa. On evenings, we explored the area both on foot and by car. We didn't use many of the facilities, just had fun watching other guests play pickleball and of course being sent to the golf course on their buggys.
Carey Island is more interesting than I expected. There's the Mah Meri place, the plantation museums and historical building in the SD Guthrie estate, the famous Kang Guan seafood restaurant (45 years in operation) and a short hop to Teluk Panglima Garang for other things.

MalaysiaI recently stayed at Rindu Houz Homestay in Banting and had a really pleasant experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious—perfect for a relaxing stay with family. I really liked the peaceful environment, it’s quiet and not too crowded, which made it easy to unwind.
All the basic amenities were provided, and everything was in good condition. It truly felt like a home away from home. The host was also responsive and helpful during check-in.
The only thing is you’ll need your own transport to get around, but overall it’s definitely worth the stay for the price. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy and affordable homestay around Banting.

We stayed 1 night only. 3 rooms with AC, 2 bathrooms, perfect location especially for transiting travellers, only a few kilometers from the airport. Airport transfer possible for 30 MYR. Equipment for short or longer stay. Perfect communitacion with the owner.

The people who run this are very polite, humble and punctual.
Their shuttle service is excellent and the house is very clean and tidy.
We required a one night stay for a family of 5 and it was perfect for us.
The three bedrooms all have AC's and there are two toilets available.
The return shuttle to and from KLIA2 cost us MYR120.

We used the apartment for an overnight stay near the airport. The owner arranged a transfer for us, took us to the center, where there is a shopping center, and took us back. The accommodation also has a kitchen with dishes, washing machine, coffee machine, wifi.
The owner is very helpful, communication via whatsapp is excellent.
