This place is amazing! It is so, so beautiful! The rooms are really spacious, pool area is really nicely made. The place is new and very clean. There are only 4 rooms so it feels very private. The owner is very friendly. We also enjoyed food & drinks in here. We had a great time and would definitely come back :) This place is a gem

A very cozy and welcoming beachfront guesthouse where you immediately feel at home. The rooms are comfortable, the courtyard with hammocks is beautiful, and having a shared kitchen — including the option to cook outside — makes the stay very relaxed. What truly sets this place apart is the owner’s strong commitment to animal welfare. She supports vaccination and sterilization campaigns for street dogs, helps local animals access veterinary care, and is also actively involved in protecting sea turtles in the area. The guesthouse is clearly animal-friendly, with dogs and cats around. A wonderful place for anyone who values coziness, kindness, and respect for animals. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Dorms are large and clean with ensuite washroom and shower. Kitchen to use is well equipped and clean. Common area with tables and hammocks. Quiet area of town. 5 min walk to either of the beaches. Bicycles available for use to explore the area. Shops nearby carry basic groceries, if you want anything special stock up in Leon ahead of time. Restaurants within walking distance if you don't feel like cooking. The owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area, where to rent a good surfboard and spots to surf. They are always willing to help out with anything you need to make your stay the best. Fluent in English , French and Spanish. Gaston the dog is the best. He's extremely chill and friendly.

Great location, 2 min walk to town with all the privacy you need. The pool is AMAZING and sooo nice to have it to myself. There's a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, shower and everything you need. I feel right at home here. The best place I've ever stayed in Nicaragua for sure. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Tapihouse is an exceptional place to stay. Its location, comfort, kitchen equipment, everything is great. but the best is the kind and helpful staff Katy and Enrique. We stayed here twice during our two months in Nicaragua. When we came back the second time, we were welcomed like family. We had a deluxe room with the biggest and most comfortable bed in our life. we recommend it to everyone!

Our stay at Puesta del Sol was amazing! The place is very beautiful and quiet. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and clean, and the breakfast (with homemade Bread) was delicious. On top of that, the owners are very sweet and helped us with everyting. Our stay was perfect - even more than we expected!! So if you’re planning to go to Leon or Las Peñitas, I really recommend to stay at Puesta del Sol.

Everything. Could not fault one thing. The staff were helpful and attentive, the location is perfect, only three cabanas meant it felt very exclusive, often we had the pool all to ourselves, the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious and plentiful and good quality. Could have stayed here for way longer. The beds were super comfy, shower was great, the decor was lovely, rooms were spacious. Excellent price for what you get

We loved our cute little loft room! It was basic but had everything we needed along with some great spaces to relax in hammocks during the hot days. The staff were friendly, welcoming and the tour of the hostal was great when we checked in. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a very cute place to stay. Lovely accommodation around a small pool and a fabulous Italian restaurant run by the family. The pasta and pizza were excellent abd made a change from the usual food I’d been eating. Just 1 minute from the beach too!

Second stay Jan /23 and now Sept /23 both times expectations were exceeded. Great hosts, relaxing atmosphere, great food, pool, and overall quality of the accommodations. Unbeatable at this price point.
