All the stuff from bar tender to chef and all the crew was amazing. Very hospitable people and smiles and assist you all the time. So helpful and very kind. Spa and the woman who work there was amazing and sweet. The food was fantastic . Place is peaceful and safe. The boat driver always smiling and talking to us. They speak english as well. The hotel ... No words can explain. Definitely will come back again. 500% love the place and all the people who works there.

This is not just a hotel – it’s much better. I expected a simple bed and breakfast, but got a full kitchen, big lounge, terrace, washing machine and dryer. Anka, the hostess, was incredibly kind and even hung my laundry so I could go explore. Breakfast is included – bread, cheese, cold cuts, eggs – and you can cook your own meals in the kitchen. There’s plenty of space, two stoves, two fridges, and two shared bathrooms for only a few rooms. I came for one night and stayed for two. The town, nearby islands, and lake are beautiful. Highly recommended – thank you, Anka!

Super nice little hotel, with friendly staff, and a little bar in the reception area serving beer, drinks etc. The breakfast was a lot better then expected, the bacon was crispy and they served real eggs, both as a fried option and also scrambled (not the cheap powder kind). The room was super tidy and clean - overall really enjoyed my stay.

I stayed at this hotel when I was attending Fredrikstad Animation Festival. To my pleasant surprise it was almost right next to the place! They also allowed me to store my luggage before check in, very convenient as I arrived to town a few hours before check-in. Nice variety for breakfast. Nice room and comfortable bed. Very nice bathrooms. Good of the hotel to think of the environment and not switching out towels/sheets everyday if its not needed.
