Accommodation in Oksevik

Very peaceful and comfortable stay in a great location right in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, and the fireplace was a big plus. There is plenty of space across two floors and three bedrooms, with a beautiful view on the other side of the valley. We also appreciated the possibility to charge our electric car from a regular socket. Communication with the host was easy and whenever we needed something, he responded quickly and was very helpful. Great value for money and a perfect base for exploring the area.

Cool house, has everything you need. Comfortable, clean, great and easy communication with the owner. View is amazing, stores are close ( 10 minutes by car). Very private.

Typical Norwegian country house with all comforts and fully equipped. Appliances are new and perfectly working. The location is very quiet in the country and close to mountains, at 15 min driving from Lyngseidet. Staff was easy to contact and helpful. On the negative side the rooms were small and with limited furniture to put your clothes and other stuff..

The host, lovely hut, just a perfect stay

The apartment was very cozy and well-equipped. The host was very kind and helpful and we really enjoyed the sauna! The location was good too, nice trails and lots to see in the Lyngen area.

We came for winter skitouring to Lyngen Alps. This apartment was a great basecamp location to all nearby mountains. Supermarket was just 5-min drive from the facility. Cosy kitchen with dining table was very convenient together with wasching maschine in the bathroom. Host was responsive as we had troubles with the faulty heater. He provided one extra for us. Great was the parking directly in front of the property which we loved. View from the windows was magical, we could literally observe aurora lights directly from the window.

Great views, spacious house, comfortable bed, parking at the door, well-equipped kitchen and everything very clean…. The house was very warm when we arrived. The owners were very friendly, they recommended some hiking routes and helped us with a problem we had with renting equipment. We would repeat without hesitation. We saw the northern lights from the door of the house!

The accomodation and location was excellent. Communication with the host was easy and quick. Special mention for the breathtaking view. Super!!

Good location, quiet neighborhood, parking place, well equipped accomodation, well equipped kitchen, .... and as a bonus, the sauna;). If we ever come back to Lyngseidet, we will definitely come back.

After five weeks on the road, this was our best stay in Norway. The area is scenic and spectacular. The accommodation is finest quality and our hosts were generous and considerate. Couldn’t have been better.

The apartment is at a wonderful location right at the center of Lyngseidet. We booked the apartment with a short notice for a week and everything went great. We got a tour of the apartment by the host, Frode. He was really helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and cozy with amazing views. 10/10.

We liked the way the house jas renovated, keeping the traditional style. We are very happy with the support, advice and flexibility received.
