Beautifully situated with a lakeside view. We had a warm welcome and were very satisfied with our cosy hut. The beds were comfortable and the living room and kitchen were well equipped. A “hyggelig” corner arrangement made relaxing easy. Excellent stop for travellers on E16.

Beautiful location. One of the best places for hiking, cottages were quite cozy and nicely placed with good distance between other cottages.. sunrise and sunset from here was beautiful. Highly recommend for both families and friends who love to hike.

Great welcome and attentive host. The building has a lot of charm and the common rooms are tastefully decorated. The bedrooms are stockage place and a washbasin. The hotel is well located to discover the Valdres region. The menu offers 3 choices of main dishes and the meals are good. We had a great stay at Furulund : I recommend it !

After a ten-day road trip with so many accommodations, this one is obviously the best. A breathtaking view of the fjord, noble materials, a sublime little fireplace to warm up our evenings Cards by the fire. The kitchen is perfect as is the bathroom. The owner is very kind and exudes the joy of living. I will come back!! See you soon

We stayed at Furulund Pensjonat for a night during our road trip, and it was an excellent experience. Dennis, the owner, is a fantastic host—very friendly and welcoming, and an amazing cook. We highly recommend having dinner there! The place is humble, with shared toilet and shower facilities, but the rustic, old Norwegian charm of the house makes it very special. Highly recommend for a cozy and memorable stay!

A wonderful house with a hospitable owner! Excellent for children, there is a trampoline nearby in the forest, near a lake and a forest, we stayed for 1 night on the way to the fjords and did not regret it. I like the location and the view from the shared balconies. And utensils and pictures inside the house.

We went in the summer and booked a cabin last minute, staying only for one night as a stop over. But the place is great - looks like a good hiking area, nicely off the beaten track, and the renovated cabin was spacious, clean, cozy and with all amenities that you need - surrounding area is beautiful as well - pity we could not stay longer. Staff were great and the dinner buffet we had was great as well.
