We had a perfect stay in Casa Morada. The house is new. The room was big and comfortable, Very clean. Hot water. Comfortable bed. The host was always very nice and gave us great suggestions for hike and restaurants. Very well located in the city. The windows had no mosquitoes net, the host said he could install it (they are removable) but it wasn't needed, we had no problem with mosquitoes (in August)

Las Catelinas is a wonderful place to stay in the charming quiet town of Anton. The location is peaceful, offering an escape from the big cities. The accommodation is comfortable, well-maintained, and provides a great local experience. The only minor issue was occasional trouble with running water, but it didn’t significantly affect our stay. Overall, everything was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Panama.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts. During our 5-day stay, they offered to clean the room and change towels. Amazing and beautifully presented breakfast right by the ocean. Perfect location—just 10 seconds from the ocean and the beach! You can tell everything is made with love, and the owners truly care. A fridge with reasonably priced drinks (cola, beer) and snacks. Hosts provide boogie boards, sunscreen, and other beach essentials—everything you need! Cons: While the house is on the beach, it’s far from infrastructure. The nearest store is a 20-minute walk, but it only sells chips and chocolate. If you need real food (meat, cheese), you’ll need to take a taxi ($10 round trip) or a taxi + highway bus. So this place is for pure beach relaxation. Scorpions and ants sometimes got into our room, but since it's in the middle of nature, it’s understandable. The hosts provided insect repellent. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a secluded beach getaway!

Christophe and Nadège are excellent hosts who serve you a delicious breakfast with homemade yogurt and bread. Very friendly and helpful. Well equipped rooms with an eye for small details. Excellent restaurants nearby. Great place which makes you feel very welcome.

Stunning property and exceptionally clean, wonderful friendly staff who went out of their way to help! Erick at the beach club and Carlos at the restaurant were exceptional! Every person working at Buenaventura felt like a friend and were so kind and I can’t imagine any complaints about this hotel or staff!!! The hotel was very quiet right after the protests, so can’t imagine how difficult it is to deliver such quality when the workers are still working to move back to the area, but every meal was exceptional and every staff member was fantastic. We loved the choice for restaurants, pools, even great room service. The hotel shuttle took us many places and the amenities in the Buenaventura community were wonderful. The zoo was incredible! We expected only a few animals but it had so much! The onsite deli/coffee bar/ grocery and convenience store were great. The food was very reasonably priced. We traveled with a 6 and a 14 year old and will be back!!
