Matavai view was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. It has an amazing view of the beach, and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The whole apartment was well appointed and very luxurious. It was quiet and very well located, and having access to the private beach and hotel amenities was fantastic. Sophie was a delightful host and communicated with us during our stay. Highly recommend!

From the time Lovina picked us up we were made to feel at home. Lovina and Wilfred were the most amazing hosts. They took us into their home and made us feel like part of the family. The owner met me at the airport and offered a lift to the apartment, to begin with. On our way, I did my groceries at the nearby Carrefour outlet. The apartment is spacious and sports excellent views of Papeete and the ocean. Weather permitting, scenic sunrises and sunsets can be admired from an enormous, L-shaped balcony. The kitchen is equipped with all amenities allowing for self-catering, which was my case. All in all, the accommodation gives you both the the feeling of home away from home and a top-notch experience. And the owner is easily reachable on Whatsapp!

The apartment was roomy, well equipped and the balcony area was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink or two. Great bathroom, comfortable bed and the quiet added to the serenity of the stay. Excellent wifi. The hosts stayed in contact and I would urge anyone contemplating a stay at this great location to be sure to instigate contact with Orava because local knowledge in Papeete is invaluable to the first time traveller. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
