Exceptional hostess, helpful (went the extra mile), had plenty of local contacts for taxi, car-hire, trips etc. Very friendly, but also left me my own time when I needed it. Free access to a fully-equipped kitchen, fridge etc.Very clean throughout. Netflix available - good job (see weather comment) Great pool and really cute dog! Highly recommend for a quiet island stay.

We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Our favourite stay on our holiday. The setting is unmatched with quiet, beautiful views and great value for money. The additional touches of waters, snacks, shampoo etc. was lovely. Whilst it is a guest house that is near the home of the family, it feels very private in your own apartment with bathroom/kitchen/ private seating. The family who run the property are lovely. The cat and the puppy are super cute.

Nice hosts and house. I felt like at home. Scooter for rent was good and cheaper than is common there. Thank you Ben for your help with planning of my trip to Marquesas. Although my month-long trip on islands from Tahiti to Maupiti was amazing, my almost week on Hiva Oa and Fatu Hiva was a class better from a traveler's perspective.
