Villa Angela is your dream accommodation in Vigan - a place where time stood still. We were greeted with warmth and friendliness on arrival which continued throughout our stay. Experiencing "history" through the privilege of staying in this heritage home is something all visitors to Vigan ought to try. Filipino-style breakfast was served on the old table, washed down with tea/coffee and juicy mangos. If you stay, try and relax in the large living room which has cultural and historical reading material on the centre table to while away your time. With their local connections, the Villa staff organised our calesa (horse and carriage) ride from the house itself. And (bonus) we stumbled across period costumes in the basement. A must try for a keep-sake picture, as we did. I can't recommend this place enough; experience it for yourselves.

We enjoyed our stay, the place is clean and beds were so comfy, the aircon is great with the 30 degrees heat outside. We asked for extra towels and blankets and were delivered straightaway. We also enjoyed breakfast. It really is a few steps to Calle Crisologo. We would definitely book again

Entrance hallway and lobby as well as the dining area seemed to be furnished in a very authentic and appealing manner.😀 Reception staff was very helpful when it came to suggestions for our onward travel by bus. The room we stayed in gave ine a sense of the simple lodging passengers moving by carriage may have experienced in the nineteenth century.

Our second time to stay at Escolta. We like the homey feeling of the place and the approachable staffs. Also, we are satisfied with the accomodation. We really like the room that we've booked, it is spacious and has a refrigerator, table, shoe cabinet, and others specified in the room.
