My two friends and I spent two nights in the Rakaposhi Amin Hotel & Restaurant. We needed a foothold for the two-day trek to Rakaposhi Base Camp. We've arrived by taxi from Islamabad, if you leave early you can get there in a day, it's a long journey, but it is doable!!! The Guest house is in the heart of Pissan, a wonderful village at the foot of the Rakaposhi, right below the highest natural Cricket stadium in the world. The rooms are new, clean, and surrounded by a beautiful orchard. The place is quiet and conveniently located for visiting many locations. Abim and Asif's cooking is excellent. They prepare everything freshly with fresh produce, so plan your meals with them a bit in advance!!! We are vegetarians, and we have had no difficulty finding excellent dishes! The welcome's been warm. Abim and Asif, the owners and brothers, have been very helpful in listening to our requests and always finding a solution! Kindness and helpfulness are at home here!!! They have helped us to organize our departure by giving us valuable advice!!! P.S. Try the excellent tea thyme and rose petal tea!!!

The staff and their warmth, their hospitality was the highlight of our stay. They accommodated our requests in every way possible and made sure that we had a relaxing evening after our long travel to Gilgit. In fact, a few days later when our flight was cancelled, they welcomed our group and allowed us to wait at the hotel, even giving us a complimentary room to rest in. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! Certainly the best experience we could have imagined and beyond.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxury mountain hotel, and we cannot praise it enough. From the warm and attentive service to the beautifully designed rooms and stunning mountain views, every aspect of our stay was perfect. The attention to detail and the personalized touches made this visit truly memorable. Compared to the same hotel’s location in Islamabad, this one felt much more intimate and personal, offering a unique charm that elevated the entire experience. While it may not boast the same grandeur or opulence as its Islamabad counterpart, the coziness and bespoke service more than made up for it.

We arrived late in the evening, The Staff and owner were accommodating. They got us dinner ready very quickly. The owner was beneficial in giving me good points for our trip. He drew a map for us and also he gave points for places to visit and places to stay.

Asif and his brother went out of their way to make my stay amazing. Welcome Rose Tea, help with SIM card and took me to the trailhead and pickup too, Served wonderful local veg curry for dinner and special rolled omelette for breakfast. Room was spotless, spacious, and better finished than most. Hot water and good electrics appreciated. Dining area under apple and cherry trees and a lovely family atmosphere.

We Had an amazing experience at Isle of Highland tours Guest House. Comfortable rooms & the staff are so cooperative. we hired a car from them and the driver was very experienced. They took us to all the tourist places from Gilgit to khunjerab. I would recommend people to stay and experience all the facilities they are providing

Property is very clean, comfortable and the staff are great. We felt right at home. Reasonable rate. We stayed here on 3 occasions thoughtout or time in pakistan . Safe parking. Hotel up the hill from the chaos of the main road. Food excellent, try the biryani

Tahir was an absolutely magnificent host. The hotel is clean, modern by normal standards but for an accommodation in the mountains of the North of Pakistan, it exceeded in it's modernity. I literally have not even a single bit of constructive criticism, the stay was great. A few power cuts here and there, but that is no fault of the premises. For a small and humble hotel, the food was also some of the nicest I had during my entire trip to Pakistan. Would highly recommend and I'll be back for sure.

The best accommodation of my stay in Pakistan! And best memories of my travel at this place with janak, the owner. Lovely place and lovely staff. We feel like at home. Comfortable and clean rooms, hot water in bathroom, wifi, small garden, nice location, good welcome.. Everything was just perfect. I recommend for your journey in gilgit.
