Accommodation in Vadu

We loved everything - the room and overall facilities, the pool, the food and especially the staff and our hosts who took great care of us and made sure we had a great time. We’ll definitely come back.

Both hosts (Cosmin and his mother) know how to make you feel like you're home. Friendly and open, even if it was our first time visiting them, we felt like we were old friends. The room was exactly like in the pictures, the good vibe, felt wonderful on the terrace late in the evening. Thanks Cosmin, will visit you again.

We loved the interaction with the owner and for kids was really interesting to discover all the facilities and to play with the little puppies. Definitely we need to come back for more days.

I really liked the place, it offered a very nice balance of natural atmosphere and "modern" amenities. The kitchen/dining hall is such a beautiful and inviting space, I really enjoyed spending time there. Our hosts were very friendly, we wish them all the best in their future! The house is in a small village, but there's a store nearby. It takes 15 minutes to get to the beach, which is very nice.

Flip Flop is located in Vadu, and the derelict state of this small village makes the very nice bungalows look even nicer. The village feels like a wasteland but the property is so nice. Everything you need, shower, insect nets, air conditioning, comfortable beds, TV, fridge in each room. And everything was clean and well maintained. There's parking in the yard, and a kitchen where the hosts could prepare a tasty breakfast or dinner for you. The breakfast too was special, made with fresh ingredients they grow in their own garden or they get from locals, all organic and fresh. The hosts, who are such lovely people, were always bringing us fruits hand picked from a tree in their garden, and generally made us feel very welcome. The property is maybe 20 minutes by car from the beach, and the dirt road, though covered in sand and not well maintained at all, is still quite accessible even without a 4x4 car. There's a rustic fishery restaurant on the beach but not much else, so this is one of the few wild beaches left on the sea side. All in all you will have a very nice experience there.

A gem in this wild natural beachside. Sparkling clean, super comfortable bed, quiet, nice bathroom, you can find everything that you want in the kitchen, from band-aid to wine and coffee. Good value for money. The owner went above and beyond showing true hospitality, I felt I could ask anything and be supported at any time. Definitely will come back when returning to Vadu. A small convenience store with lots of things is just a few meters away, and with a nice owner. The place has a special vibe. 😊

Pensiunea oferă tot confortul necesar: curățenie impecabilă, paturi comode și o atmosferă tare plăcută în curte. Ne-am bucurat de liniștea din sat seara și de frumusețea unică și sălbatică a mării în timpul zilei. Recomand cu drag tuturor celor care vor să descopere farmecul autentic din Vadu!

The host was very friendly and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room and outside area were cool and shaded. We slept the best night in the last 10 days in Romania.

This property provides users with absolutely everything needed for a family stay in that locality. Quiet corner of the village, yet right on the access road leading to the main access/excess points in and out such as the entrance into the village, a grossery shop, and the main way toward the seas-side beach.
