Accommodation in Au Cap

I won't be brief - this place deserves a proper review😄 We had an amazing experience at Au lever du Soleil. Mang, the local host, was incredibly kind & communicative - we discussed everything smoothly before our arrival. When we arrived, Mang let us know that the guests in our originally booked room had extended their stay by a day, but no worries - we were upgraded to a larger & even better apartment🎉 #Apartment: Fully equipped, super comfortable, & the view was absolutely magical. The area is peaceful & quiet, & from the balcony you can hear the ocean waves at night & in the morning. Since the apartment faces east, we witnessed breathtaking sunrises over the ocean. On clear days, you can even see Praslin & La Digue on the horizon. #Parking: Our rental car was always parked in a covered space, so it never overheated in the morning sun. #Breakfast & dinner: Breakfast was perfect every day - it was placed on our balcony table at the agreed time. We found out that Mang's son, Freddy, is a professional chef. He cooked our dinner every evening & surprised us with one amazing fresh seafood dish after another: swordfish, mahi-mahi, red snapper, tuna, prawns, shellfish, calamari - absolutely delicious! We looked forward to chatting with Freddy every night over dinner - one evening we talked for over an hour!😄 On the day we left early for the ferry to La Digue, Freddy packed us a lovely picnic breakfast the night before. If you're staying here, make sure to ask for Freddy's dinner - it's a must! #Departure day: Since our flight was only at 11PM, Mang kindly allowed us to use the apartment as long as we needed - we got a late checkout, which meant we could take a proper shower after our final beach day. Super appreciated! #Bonus point: The Takamaka Rum Distillery is only 599m away in a straight line😄 #Summary: We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Location is perfect for me, with family nearby. The facilities provide me with everything I need. Nice welcome drink to cool you down.

There were so kind people who let us take a shower the next day after the beach before we were heading to the airport. The place itself was very special, great location, super close to the airport and the moat beautiful beach in Mahe- Anse Royal. Also breakfast was lovely :)

Staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was great. The biggest upside of this stay was the location as it was 20 minutes on foot from the airport which was perfect for our last day.

The apartment was amazing. It was very clean, spacious and we had everything we need. The bedroom was really cozy with a nice bathroom. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We also loved the balcony with a nice view on the lush surroundings. Last but not least: the swimming pool was perfect to cool off!

I’ve traveled a lot, but this place truly exceeded all my expectations. The staff is absolutely phenomenal—whatever you need, they are there to help with a smile. They go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Everyone is so kind and professional. I would give them 100 stars if I could. Highly recommend!

Charlotte and Bernard are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Their garden has beautiful fruits like papaya, lemons and passion fruit which they gave to,us on arrival. The property is near swimming beaches and close to supermarkets and restaurants. Try Maison Marengo for a very nice meal we also had a cocktail at Green house both in walking distance.

We loved everything about the property and its location. Bessy was super nice and responsive. We traveled with 12 years old teenager and giant tortoises at the property were the special bonus for her. We rented a car, and traveled all over the island daily. Property was really comfortable place to start daily travels - exactly on a road that cross the island. At the same time ocean beach just in a 2 minutes walk if you prefer to stay closer one day.

The apartment was amazing. Attention to detail and spotless,a lot of complimentary items which makes you feel right at home. The host Charlette was great, helpful, insightful and so lovely and pleasant. I would highly recommend staying here.

Brand new apartment and beautifully built with gorgeous furniture. Has all the amenities you need in the kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, toaster and access to washing machine and dryer The bedrooms are really big and the bathrooms are equally large.

The property was clean. We had a good view and a garden to chill and to bbq in. The staff was very friendly. They helped us, offered us a coconut from their own garden. They also gave us a ride to the airport. Also, they had lovely turtles. I would definitely go back there!

Three-bedroom villa is located in the beautiful garden with palms, bushes with flowers in bloom, birds singing all day long. It has a spacious dining and sitting area, big terrace, had everything you could imagine. Very quiet location and the beach is just 5 minutes walk. The host made arrangements for our transfer from and to the airport. There are small food stores within walking distance, 4 restaurants also very near. Our main goal was to have separate bedrooms in the house and location near the ocean, as we wanted to swim several times a day. The goal achieved.

The whole apartment is well furnished with everything you can think of. It really make my life so easy . I wake up to see the sunrise over the ocean with cool breeze. The view is breathtaking like my son always say.its so nice .and the host is exceptional in everything
