Ekeby i Bro exceeded our expectations, even though we had already read great things about it. It is beautifully situated in the peaceful countryside, yet still close to Stockholm. We wanted a quiet place to stay after spending the day in the hustle and bustle of the city, and this was perfect. The couple who run the bed and breakfast were extremely friendly and accommodating. The property was immaculate, comfortable, and wonderfully peaceful. Highly recommended!

comfy motel-type room in annex to stately-home hotel; dining, sitting rooms and bar benefit from the 'Slott' ambience. Fine view of lake and landscaped grounds. Breakfast was excellent - wide choice. Restaurant is upmarket, bar-food is also available.

Everything was just perfect! Sadly, we only stayed for a night, but we are definitely coming back! The hosts are the definition of kindness! Not only the house, but also the whole property was like out of a fairytale. Thanks again for having us in this magical B&B!

Very modern, well equiped apartment not far from Skokloster. Was a perfect spot for an overnight stay on the way to ferry in Stockholm. Local attractions include Skokloster palace (and no, the palace is not within the sight of the apartment), hiking trails near the lake, also charming Sigtuna is not far away. Very helpful owner, who kept our baggage/bikes after checkout while we explored the locality.
