Breakfast was good, not excellent, and the variety was about average compared to other similarly-priced hotels in Sweden. My error, but I somehow missed at booking a few weeks earlier that the desk is unmanned on Sundays. Traveling around Sweden we were so busy with family & sightseeing on our own that sometimes I didn't know what day it was, which is proof of being relaxed on vacation. The door was locked on arrival, but looking at the reservation I saw that I should have phoned the prior day to arrange access. Called the number; the clerk/manager was very pleasant and arrived within 10 minutes to let us in and explain everything. We would stay there again when we return to Nybro as I have a relative nearby.

We had a very pleasant one night stay. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Room was comfortable and clean. Good parking. Nightly Thai buffet was fantastic and popular.

The outdoor picnic tables and backyard were very appreciated. The kitchen was clean, large and well equipped. The location near the train/bus station was excellent. It was also very quiet.

Everything - just had a very homely feeling in a wonderfully preserved home built in 1853. There were lots of home grown fruits and vegetables. They had lots of activities in their large garden including ping pong, football/volleyball and a wood close by to wander through. But beware of mosquitoes that descend in the woods at dusk.
