The accommodation is a two-story building. Hans, Fiona and a big, nice dog live on the top floor. The guest can use the lower level, which includes a bedroom, a large living room with a TV, an office, and a large bathroom with a sauna. Every space is nicely decorated in a personal style, and all the facilities work perfectly, even though the house is old. I have stayed with Sweden Slow Living a number of times, and it is like coming home to old friends. After a long car ride, it is so relaxing to chat with Hans and Fiona and cuddle with the dog. The living room and the bedroom are just above the shore of the river Ljungan, so the view is fantastic. You have access to a tree deck that faces the river, just outside the living room and the bedroom. On the other side of the building is a country lane and a railway track. Although there is some traffic on the road and railway, I haven't been disturbed by that, and I'm highly sensitive to noise. Hans is excellent at cooking, and he has no problem adapting breakfast to your personal preferences or dietary restrictions. Sometimes you can persuade him to make an excellent dinner as well if you ask in advance.
