Lishan House was an amazing place to stay! The view of the lake and mountains was incredible but the best part by far were the hosts! Definitely opt in for the dinner. These were the freshest and most authentic vegetarian meals I had in Taiwan. The ladies were very lovely and we had the best time communicating through a translator app.

It was the best stay we had in Taiwan! Light, clean and well-equipped room with a great view. It was handy to have a tap with drinking water and both bath and shower. Most of the staff don’t speak English but they are very eager to help and could efficiently communicate through Google translate. The reception organized a shuttle to get to the trail head of a mountain nearby. Hot springs facilities are also very nice, clean and well organized

The owners of the hotel are extremely nice and although they dont speak english we managed to communicate really well. We booked the dinner with them and it was really amazing - all home cooked traditional dinner. Would definitely recommend to take it if you stay here. The hotel is on a bit of a remote road but its really worth the drive. Room is as shown in the pictures. Would definitely stay here again.

A very unique, random but cool place in a remote "village". To get there, you cross the bridge over the river with a stunning view. It's close to beautiful hikes and they provide a solid healthy breakfast. Lunch and dinner as well if you want, with veggies from their own garden. Downstairs is filled with taiwanese artifacts and statues and upstairs is a gallery. It's very relaxed and an experience to stay here if you love hiking! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! A bit over 2hrs from Taichung with a direct bus to Lileng, 7 minute walk from bus stop Lileng.

We would 100% recommend this hotel. You have unlimited access to the hot spring spa, which is a lovely little spa. The room was clean and comfy with a beautiful view of the river. The location within the village is perfect, within walking distance of everything and right next to the suspension bridge.
