Host is super friendly amd helpful. She offered to pick us up at the bus stop in town when we arrived and also helped us to book transportation to Alishan Forest Park in the wee hours of the morning to catch the sunrise train. We enjoyed the BBQ dinner that was available. Room was rustic and the view from the back window made you feel like you were sleeping within trees. There was an awesome coffee place just a few mins away and lots of trails nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay despite us choosing this as an alternative when our initial hotel was affected by fire.

Fantastic hotel, high standard, very good kitchen serving a very good - though somewhat pricy - dinner. Rooms are very nice and everything of high standard. Very nice outdoor pool.

It was great. Especially the owner, who helped us a lot with everything and was very friendly. AI if you don't know Chinese, don't worry, with a little pantomime and modern technology you can agree on everything.

We loved everything. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Imagine waking up to a beautiful sunrise, and heading out to dig into an amazing spread of food made from their own farm, and once you're full to head aside and have tea with the owner. It's perfect.

Thoughtfully designed rooms and lounge with amazing breakfast views. Toilets had a self drying mode! Owners were welcoming and very accommodating to a large group of us who rented few rooms for our two nights stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here 😊 Despite the language barrier, the grandpa owner was very kind and helpful, he used a translator app to communicate with us and always greeted us with a smile. The room was very spacious for 2 people, with a big and comfortable bed. The room was clean and had everything we needed: aircon with heating (very helpful since it was cold in December), toiletries, towels, hairdryer, and kettle. There’s also a water refilling station just outside the room. One super convenient thing is that Bus 7322 going to Alishan National Park stops right outside the homestay!!!! This made getting around so easy, especially since we didn’t rent a car. Locationi-wise, it was very convenient. Also, the city center of Shizhou is just about a 15-minute walk away, where you can find convenience stores like 7 Eleven and Hi-Life which super helpful if you need snacks or essentials (i think those are open 24 hrs). The mountain view was honestly a highlight. We got to watch the sunset straight from our room, which felt like a private viewing 🌅🥹 The room itself was clean and cozy. Just a small note that the place may look a bit rundown from the outside at first, but once you’re inside, it’s comfortable and well-kept. Overall, a really nice stay with a warm and welcoming host 🫶

Clean and comfortable. Homestay feel/B&B local feel. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, took us to dinner and bus stops to Alishan and also showed us around their tea plantation and held 2 tea tastings for us which was very kind.

A very friendly homelike stay. The host was very accommodating with picking us up and dropping us off at the nearby town. The location was beautiful, with a reasonably easy transit to Alishan forest. The view from the balcony was amazing and it just felt really homely and nice. The bedroom was nice. Good breakfast provided too, would definetly recomend to others!

Excellent hospitality and great place.

It is very homey. Owner's family is very kind and welcoming. Owner gave us a lot of reccomendations and informations about Alishan. They have a really cute house cat, I even bought some treats to play with the cat. Room is small and simple but cozy and very clean. Very fast free wifi, because owner is a gamer, she got a cool PC. Huge parking space and very easy access.

Super friendly host. Wendy would schedule the driver to pick us up from the bus station whenever we needed, at it is quite a trek to get there by foot and especially with luggage, you don't want to walk up the hill with that! Breakfast was offered, and the location was gorgeous. Being next to a tea plantation was a dream to see in the morning.

The host is very accommodating, they were patient with my language barrier (since I'm 🇦🇺), gave me a ride to the bus station and some tea as well!

Beautiful only 2 rooms accomodation in the middle of a teafarm. Very nicely designed comfortable room and bathroom. Amazing breakfast and on demand dinner. Tea ceremony. Very nice hosts. Accepts credit card
