We loved our stay at Lala lodge. Beautiful, quiet spot - exactly what we wanted. Great food and lots of it. Super easy to arrange day trips and make plans. Dennis, the owner, made us feel right at home. Actually one of our favorite parts about staying here was dinner and conversations with Dennis and another guest there at the same time - it felt like we were staying with friends:)

Waterfall Retreat, Pemba Island, Zanzibar has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Mkoani. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

Room is very nice, clean and new. The staff was super nice with us, very welcoming and polite. The view is amazing especially for sunset.

Set in Mkoani in the Pemba Island region, Mkoani Guest House has a patio. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Very clean place, the manager Abdula is very welcoming and friendly person. If you need something, he is always very helpfully. We could have a delicious dinner there too. If you like local owned place, this the right place to stay.

Emerald Bay Resort is located in Chokocho village in the south of Pemba. Surrounded by tropical vegetation, this Arabic-styled resort faces a characteristic natural port.

We’ve been to the North and South of Pemba and Emerald Bay was our favourite place. The daily boat tours and excursions in this stunning place were fantastic. Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.
