Accommodation in Moshi

We absolutely loved this place and the people who work here! It's so peaceful with a nice swimmingpool in a beautiful garden. We slept here two nights before and two nights after climbing Kilimanjaro and we were totally rested. The rooms are spacious with a cute little balcony and a comfortable bed. The chef makes very very delicious meals and the breakfast is amazing! We had a lot of dirty clothes after Kilimanjaro so we used the laundry service and I don't think my clothes have ever been so clean. The best part is that when we paid for our stay we got told that part of the money goes to the Mama Clementina foundation. All the more reason to stay at this lovely place! :D

Very nice hotel in moshi town. The location was safe and good to have balcony in the room and nice view. Breakfast was really nice too. Little bit expensive but worth it. Very nice service.

A wonderful stay. Beautiful grounds with a garden and pool, and lots of beautiful potted plants. Lots of beautiful wood. Every detail was meticulously thought out. Attention to the guest. Klaus, the owner, was very attentive. Beds and bathrooms were decorated beautifully. Excellent cuisine. We highly recommend this apartment. The standard is very high.

Ameg Lodge Kilimanjaro is the perfect place for relaxing while enjoying visiting Moshi and Kilimanjaro. There are several quite spaces for relaxing, enjoying a drink or interacting with travel companions without invading any privacy of other guests. Personally, I loved the open-air SPA area where one can enjoy a massage in full privacy, while hearing the birds singing. I still dream about my massage thanks to a very kind and skilled masseuse - thank you !!! The garden is really beautiful with flowers, trees (offering refreshing shades) and beautiful harmless animal like birds, butterfly or colourful lizard. The rooms, all with their own porch, are super clean, perfectly equipped and functional with a light breeze that allows chilling down without need of air conditioning (which is also available if one wishes) and everything is in full harmony and respect of local style, culture. Last but not least, all the staff and people working at Ameg have been very kind and always smiling, welcoming and ready to help when needed, throughout our stay. THANK YOU, for the warm welcome !! I loved the environment, it was 10/10. The staff were friendly and very cooperative , the place was clean it felt like a second home. The garden receives a bonus cause waking up, and that's the first view from your window ..totally worth it.

I had a private room with a single bed and a private bathroom. The room has a ceiling fan which made the room fresh enough for me. The room and facilities were clean. Towels and toilet paper was provided. There is also a small table and chair in the room + two chairs in front of the door of the room to enjoy the view. The building has a very nice roof terrace with a view on Mount Kilimanjaro. The vibe overall is very chill and friendly. Staff is very friendly, helpful and flexible with check in. I arrived much earlier than check in time but was immediately provided with the room. The garden and reception are well decorated and nice to hang out. The location is very good since it’s on the main street and only 10 minutes walking from the bus station. There are nice cafes and restaurants nearby. There is no Bolt in Moshi but there are constantly bajjaji’s passing on the main street so it’s very easy to catch a ride when you step out of the hotel. There is a shuttle bus from Kibo Tower to Kilimanjaro airport if you fly with Air Tanzania which costs only 10.000 tsh (november 2024). You can just show up at specific times depending on the flight departure so it’s good to go to the Air Tanzania office to ask their staff about this. I combined the walk to Kibo Tower with sightseeing and a walk through the park, which is a nice opportunity to see the colorful autumn like trees. The shuttle bus is organized by Air Tanzania so it’s just a tip ;)
