Really lovely property overlooking the lake. We were 3 friends on a road trip and really loved this stop. Kernville had some great food and drink stops (notably the saloon and the brewery) and the tubing down the Kern River was a great activity. Driving distance to the trail of 100 giants if you wanna check out the big sequoias, there'd been a lot of wildfire of late when we went which was a bit of a shame but still got some amazing views on the drive. The property itself is comfortable with everything you need, would definitely stay again

Location was wonderful part of town, right in view of the river. There is a road between accommodation and river but it is quiet street, safe and no traffic noise. Kern was much nicer town than we had expected. Everything was as described, one of the offered pillows was very hard but the other was fine.

I was looking for a house for the weekend. And I found this house. To say that we are delighted is to say nothing. It is a wonderful big house with all the amenities in a wonderful place. You feel like home. The view from the window is amazing, like from a picture. My children did not want to leave, they loved it so much. I will definitely recommend this house to my friends and I will come again myself.
