We were searching for a stay close to Kgalagadi National Park and when we found Duiker's Accomodations, even if there were not many reviews, we decided to give it a shot. Well, it was absolutely a match! The room was clean and curated in every little detail! The hosts were also caring and friendly,giving us many good tips for our journey. Considering the price too, i can only recommend! :)

The accommodation is in the center of Askham and it has the charm of a good old house with a huge and nice patio area. Some parts would need a bit of a renovation, but the place is neat and clean and well equipped. You will find everything you need for self catering, but we decided to order breakfast, which was a wonderful surprise. The owner served a great breakfast with a big variety of products (for 150 Rand p. person). It was so much that we still had enough for lunch on our way to the next destination.

Wonderful stay in tastefully decorated rooms. Good beds and shower and lots of little extras like fruit and rusks etc. Good distance for overnight stop before entering Kgalgadi National Park.

We booked this stay for an overnight on our way to the Kgalagadi. Somewhere there was a miscommunication; I thought that we could have dinner there, but that should be arranged previously. No problem though, well equipped braai area, gas stove (though the cylinder had to be changed first). Kitchen area outside which was looked quirky until we realized it should be seen as bricks-and-mortar camping, then it all suddenly makes perfect sense.
