The cottage was almost new and well maintained. The design was perfect. Electric panels on the walls make the cottage warm even when outside is rainy and snowy. The bed was big with a comfortable and standard mattress. The bathroom was big and elegant. Although there is no hot tub, the water pressure is high and the dousch was so modern. You just need to pay attention to the time of taking bath. Because of the electric warming supply, the hot water will not supply you if your bath takes more than ten minutes time. There is also a small electric oven and utensils for cooking and eating. But pay attention that because of the lack of ventilation, the smell of what you cook may stay at the cottage, unless you let the door or window of the bedroom open. To put in a nutshell, Edgar is so helpful and the cottage leaves you with an exceptional pleasant experience of living in the very front of a beautiful great lake with different Kinds of birds( ducks, swans, seagulls....). We have booked here on March 2026 for two nights at 46 Euros!( too valuable to miss!)

Chkalovka Guest House is a place with beautiful garden, where You can spend some time. The owners are very friendly and hearty, they always asked if we need anything. Despite language barier we were able to communicate using google translator. Breakfast was delicious and large. Hosts asked us what we want to eat and prepared it on their own. We highly recommend this place to stay and hope that we will go there in the future :)

Most welcoming hosts ever! Gary and Lala are lovely hosts, we had nice conversations, they showed us the farm and invited us with brandy. The house, although bit old, is extremely clean. Rooms were huge as well and we had clean bed linen. The breakfast was very complete with fruits and vegetables and tasty. Great Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Totally recommended!
