Really enjoyed our short stay in the Bauernhof Moadl. Located at the top of a mountain hill away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. You can see a big part of the Attersee from the road to the apartment. If you are an astronomy enthusiast (which I'm too), this is a good place to observe the night sky unobstructed of light pollution. I could even see a part of the Milky way in the morning. There is an observatory nearby but I'm not sure if it's accessible to the public. The host is a kind lady who speaks English.

Featuring free WiFi, Hotel Haberl - Attersee is located in Attersee am Attersee, This property provides guests with a children's playground. Loved everything! It totally exceeded my expectations. Outstanding view, great restaurant with attentive staff (try the Marillenknödel!), awesome breakfast, free parking, animal-friendly, lovely private beach with free rowboat and SUPs (and turquoise water!); and all at a great price. This is how you run a private hotel. Hats off to all staff! Thanks for a great stay and for the unexpected upgrade! (Booked single bed, got double! 😀)

Offering an infinity pool with a sunbathing lawn, a spa area, a restaurant, and a terrace with panoramic views of Lake Attersee and the mountains, Hotel Irmgard is located in Strass im Attergau, 5 km... This property made it hard to leave Attersee. I adored the staff as well as the property. The parking is free, located in the front of the property. The bikes available for borrowing were a nice addition, too. If you prefer E-bikes, I would recommend renting them in the village. The breakfast was amazing, and I enjoyed having an assigned seat, I recommend the dinner, there is no need to go anywhere, as the staff provide a 4-course meal and one night, the Austrian buffet was great after hiking 30km. The property is kind to dogs, and there's a great walking path nearby. The room was spacious, with a spa shower and a beautiful terrace, overlooking the forest behind. I will forever adore the Attersee.
