The building dates back to 14th century and they did a great job preserving its character. We loved it, I highly recommend this place.

RomaniaWe have arrived late in the evening and although a misunderstanding was made on room reservation, reception staff was very helpful in sorting out the problem. We switched the room the next day and everything was excellent.
The hotel is quite new, with very nice and large and comfortable rooms. We have an infrared cabin in our room that we used every day after being on the ski slopes.
We did travel with a small dog and staff was very friendly and helpful to accommodate the pet and daily room housekeeping.
Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection for all tastes.
Hotel has Venetia Restaurant on ground floor, which was very convenient for dinning out or order some pizza if too tired after a day of skiing.

AustraliaThe property was excellent on all levels. Room clean, quiet and bed comfortable. Bathroom had a large bath and was very very clean. Water pressure was excellent. The pool and sauna were a great bonus. It was the best breakfast that I have had since I started travelling 4 months ago. So much to chose from. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable l. Great restaurants near by and the bar in the foyer was reasonably priced. We have booked again.

This is the second time we stay in Penken studio during our vacation. The host welcomed us very kindly. Everything is sparkling clean, the kitchen is equipped with all you need, everything is like new, spacious bathroom with free towels, very comfortable bed. The studio has a generous balcony that offers a wonderful view of the mountains. Selective garbage collection. The location is perfect, very close to the center but at the same time on a quiet street. We had a wonderful vacation!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was very child-friendly with a sleeping cot available, baby chairs in the restaurant and kids playroom. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating with the baby, which was so amazing! There were also several optional activities/events happening during our stay at the hotel (live music, groups walks, etc.), which were a good addition to the holiday.

The location was wonderful, especially for a transit trip. The people help you very nicely and the breakfast is great. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was quick and tasty for a very reasonable price. The room is clean, more than big enough and has a great balcony that's more than roomy enough for up to 4 people.
The accommodations are very close to a ruin of a castle which is definitely worth a visit.

I didn't like anything! booking.com misrepresented the accommodations! It was not a double room, one cup, one chair, and a bed for one. I slept on the floor.
Disappointed. I spoke with the staff, and they blame booking.com for the misinformation. terrible experience

Stayed just for 1 night before going to the mountains but enjoyed it very much. We definitely want to come back. Perfect base to explore Virgental area! A bit of a combo between mountain hut and private accommodation, which gives it a unique flavor.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. Everything was absolutely perfect and we had no issues at all. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with easy access to local attractions. We definitely recommend this place to everyone and would love to come back. Very friendly and nice host, nice, clean and tidy accomodation on a beautiful spot with the Swiss border in front of you. Host Goran was helpful and thoughtful and checked breakfast timing so we would have a fresh breakfast, which was included in the stay and also pleasant. Would recommend staying here.

What a nice place to spent your holidays.
The appartment was nice and clean. The garden was beautiful with a nice playarea for the children.
Cornelia's hospitality was great.
The appartment is not far from the town. A perfect distance to walk to.
If we ever go to Westendorf again, we would stay at app Martin again.
