This is an excellent hotel with a wonderful location, right next to the castle. The breakfasts were very tasty and had a good selection. Our room was new, recently renovated, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

This is easily the best stay we had on our entire trip. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment with separate bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Huge, comfortable living room with big table, 2 armchairs, TV and coffee table. Great beds: double queen in bedroom and sofa covered with extra mattress for comfy sleeping (great idea!). Relatively small kitchen but has everything u may need, including coffee machine and toster. Big bathroom with walk in shower and beautiful view from the window. Apartment extremely clean 🙂. 3 minutes by foot to town centre and supermarket. Quiet neighbourhood. Free parking.
