I can’t say enough about the hospitality of this family run hotel. When I think of our short stay in Ypres I may remember chatting with Daphne at the Albion desk and bar as much as our visit to the Flanders Museum just around the corner! Besides the kindness of the owners, our room was modern but with architectural features that honored the past. The high tech skylight looked up on the steeple of the nearby church. The bar was comfortable with great local beers. And be sure to include breakfast! A spread worthy of the cost. Thank you Daphne and the entire family for your hospitality!

This hotel is surrounded by gardens with a pond, a secluded terrace and a petanque square. Firstly, the people were excellent. Friendly from the moment we walked through the door, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms had everything you need, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean . Oh, the restaurant dinner was first class! The lamb was done perfectly and the vegetables were delicious!

The location is peaceful. And we heard no noise, from the hotel or from the road outside . It felt safe and a nice place to be, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very recently renovated and spacious apartment. It was clean and well looked after. The balcony was also a nice addition and it was lovely to sit out in the sun. Bonus was that the building had an elevator, which was nice as I didn't need to lug my heavy suitcase up the stairs.
