Everything!, the hotel is very beautiful, the room is nice and spacious, the producto they use are environmentally friendly, breakfast was great!!, their staff great!!!, they where also very friendly and nice with this loving and beautiful street dog, that says a lot about them in the good way :). Also how close it is to the main part of downtown, and at the same time far enough to have a quiet sleep.

With departures on Mondays and Fridays, Grand Amazon Expedition offers a different lodging experience where guests can explore the beauty of Solimões and Negro rivers, as well as the local culture of... Just finished the 4 night cruise and it exceeded our expectations. Although the boat is a little tired it is spotlessly clean (cabins serviced twice per day) and well appointed. Good size cabins, all with a balcony and enormous comfortable bed, tv, wifi, minibar, dressing gown, slippers etc. it was a floating hotel room. The staff are all lovely, a particular we would like to thank to Moura in the dining who took such good care of us. He was very kind and attentive, I was a little apprehensive as some reviews said the food was not good & the wine was undrinkable but actually we found the opposite. Lots of Amazonian fish, fresh salads, fruit (plus lots of treats if you preferred). We particularly enjoyed the captain’s dinner on the final night Food was delicious. It was followed by a wonderful show. Several excursions per day so the boredom get a chance to take hold. Although it seems expensive when you book it, you don’t have to spend a single cent whilst on board. It is, fully all inclusive and once you add everything up, it feels like good value. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cruise. It’s a once in a lifetime experience.
