The host was very accommodating. We arrived earlier than planned and they allowed us to rest while they finished cleaning. They also have a great recommendation of a nearby mall for food. This was a great place to stay for a few hours while we waited to depart in our flight.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Although the room doesn't have a kitchen, we were allowed to use the host family's kitchen.

This is a wonderful cruise on the Amazon (aka Solimões - this is what Amazon is called in this part of Brazil) and Rio Negro rivers. Friday to Monday is Amazon river, Monday to Friday is Rio Negro cruise, you can book either or both. They have several activities every day - boat trips, jungle walks, etc. Tons of food available from about 6am to 11p. And they now have satellite internet service through Starlink. It's kinda pricey but it's a wonderful experience with attentive crew, great food, and amazing views. All rooms have balconies. The shower is very spacious (and big enough for 2 people). Several power outlets in the room.

The experience at the Dolphin Lodge was exceptional! Our guide, Leonard, was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with me and my wife. He is also adaptable and will accommodate your needs to the best of his ability. We saw monkeys, caimans, a tarantula, a viper, and many rare species of birds, to name a few. To experience the Amazon in your back yard is truly an experience you will never forget.
