This is a wonderful place, stay here. I booked the King Suite, and it’s brilliant. Spacious, incredible view with windows that wrap around the suite. Very comfortable bed, big bath and lovely shower. Friendly, helpful staff (thanks cheryl) and the property is right in the heart of town.

The best BnB in all my rentals in NS ! A real family-run place, not one where people are only there to give you the key ! The Wellness Centre was amazing. The hotel services were also perfect, and staff were accomodating and did door service for fetching ice and gave us water. The pleasantries of chocolate and macrons with a personal note were a very sweet touch. The BKS was an amazing experience. The room was beautiful bathtub and shower. Also bed was so comfortable. For a couple that isn't new to Halifax this felt like a newfound treat and will make you feel pampered and lovely. Thank you Muir.

We chose to stay in the Maitland area to watch the tidal bore and once more found a wonderful place to stay. Warren greeted us on arrival and explained the tide would be coming in fairly soon and what to expect. The property stands on the edge of the river with a resident pair of bald eagles obligingly sitting in the tree waiting for the tide to come in. It has three guest rooms that were all occupied that day, we watched the bore with Warren and our fellow guests sitting in the garden on a warm sunny evening. The house is beautifully appointed with lovey comfortable antique furniture. Our room on the 1st floor with views of the river and garden was very spacious, comfortable and had a large bathroom with a tub. It was very quiet - even the eagles kept it down! Maitland is very small but an extremely friendly community with one eatery attached to the local store. Warren was very kind and encouraged us to bring back pizzas to eat watching the tide. In the morning Warren cooked us all a delicious breakfast with plentiful coffee and we all sat together in the beautiful dining room. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough, Thank you Warren for making our stay so comfortable, homely and memorable
