Here comes my review of 🏨 Qichi Waterfront Hotel — located not far from Luoyi Ancient City, super convenient to get to! ✨ First highlight — the hotel offers a free pick-up service from the train station! 🚗💨 As soon as we arrived, a staff member was already waiting to greet us and warmly escorted us inside ❤️ Right at the entrance, we were welcomed by the cutest chubby cat named 大熊 (Da Xiong) — which means “Big Bear” 🐻. So adorable and super friendly, like he’s the real owner of the hotel! 😆 Our room was amazing — located on the first floor by the river, with a stunning view 🌊 The bathroom is Japanese-style, with a warm toilet seat and a built-in bidet 🚽✨ But the real highlight is… “Xiao Du,” the smart voice assistant! 🎤 You can control the lights and curtains just by talking! Commands we used: 💡 “Xiao Du, kai deng” (turn on the light) 💡 “Xiao Du, guan deng” (turn off the light) 🪟 “Xiao Du, kai chuang lian” (open the curtain) 🪟 “Xiao Du, guan chuang lian” (close the curtain) In the end, we spent half the night just playing with the lights and curtains 😂

Attractively set in the Luo Long district, this hotel is set 4.9 km from Longmen Grottoes. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Location was right next to Luoyang Longmen Station. Also, it was right in between Longmen Grottoes and the city center, so we could easily reach both. The staff was really helpful and even gave us a free room upgrade. The breakfast was also decent.
