First of all, I didn’t realize that Cruz Roja means Red Cross! So, not only you're staying and enjoying your trip, but you’re also helping others at the same time. Secondly, the staff there are amazing people—warm and welcoming. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we were still able to connect and understand each other. The location was perfect for catching an early morning flight since it’s close to the airport. Although, the town itself is quite small. Room was super clean and comfortable. They have AC, wi-fi and provide a tasty breakfast. I would love to stay there again someday.

We were met by Charlie and his sons at the dock when we arrived from Leticia and taken to the cabins. They are a short walk from the centre of town, on a beautiful property surrounded by nature. The cabins are simple but impeccably clean, comfortable and with everything you might need. Charlie and his family helped us arrange activities, transport and meals for the three days we were there. They are some of the warmest and most welcoming people we met on our trip around South and Central America. We had a truly wonderful time staying here, and only wish we could have stayed longer. It was the highlight of our trip.

Maricela was a fantastic host - she helped us out with everything we needed! We were made to feel very at home and had a very relaxing time there. The pool was also lovely. Perfect stay after a week in the Amazon

The neightbours also friendly, while we passed we always greeted them. We went everywhere by foot, its actually very close. Took only mototaxi to Tanimboca and tuk-tuk to the airport.
