Mongui is a beautiful town and the paramo and surrounding pueblos are so unique and beautiful. We had a great time at sun Luis. We were made to feel welcome, the staff helped us with anything we required without any problems. They organised a great guide for the paramo (Juan) and were happy to prepare us some food for the hike. I have travelled through hundreds of towns in Colombia over the years , Mongui is my fav and san luis hotel is without doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. You can have a great looking hotel, but without great staff it’s nothing. 10/10 for this hotel.

We only got there due to Booking.com discounts and upgrades, otherwise it was above our budget. The place is run by an amazing family, happy to help and always ready to propose you something. Out of the city centre it is a quite location, and the open house plan makes it a pleasant to spend time. There's no kitchen but you can ask for plates and utensils

Everything is great. The apartment is just few steps away from central square, yet with nice view to a small river. All major stores are also within short walk. The apartment is equipped fully, with everything needed for short or long stay. Internet working very well, suitable for remote work. Yet, people from this property are the true gem. Since I came from Europe, they helped me a lot with everything (for example, with adapters for my mobile phone and laptop, and much more).

What a wonderful hotel! Absolutely beautiful, the rooms are very clean, large and comfortable. The bed is huge with comfortable pillows. We had a couple of drinks in the 'bar' with the hosts, it was magical.
