Lovely staff who booked us a taxi and were very patient and understanding when our late night flight was delayed even further. Delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast, lovely courtyard, felt very safe and clean, comfy, spacious. I even did 20 mins of yoga in the bathroom in the morning - it was that big! Well located, just a 15 min drive from SJO.

The location is perfect, specially to visit the Poas volcano and La Paz waterfall garden. Breakfast was super tasty. I wish we could have stayed longer. The hostel is situated in a perfect location in the village center. Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. Supermarket, bakery, Best Coffee and the company for booking rafting and other tours are at walking distance. In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!
