The entire community is incredibly kind. They took me on really interesting and personalized tours. The people who work at reception were very helpful with scheduling tours both in the community and to Chimborazo. Visiting the community is an amazing experience and I highly recommend.

Friendly, helpful staff and great food. Outside doesn't look like the inside so we thought we were lost despite being literally outside the front door so trust your nav...you're there. We arrived late so, our fault not theirs. Hosts are wonderful and helpful, secure parking right outside your door and the chalets look brand new and are very comfortable. A convenient stroll to everything in this beautiful town. Breakfast was delicious.

Located in Riobamba, 14 km from San Andrés, Casa de Mármol provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Irma was super friendly and helpful! She put me in touch with an affordable guide to go to Chimborazo. The breakfast was amazing! The room was nice and the blankets were very soft and cozy. The living room/lounge was great. You could refill your water bottle in the kitchen. The shower, albeit shared, was luxurious, with hot water and you could control the temperature. Irma went out of her way to ensure I got my laundry washed in time before I left. She also connected me with a trusted cab driver.

Located on the foothill of Chimborazo Volcano, Chimborazo Lodge offers rooms with heating in Chimborazo Natural reserve. There is a restaurant, and free parking is provided. Riobamba is 36 km away. Very warm room, super cozy blankets and beds, everything clean, hot water and the alpacas!!! They sometimes let you touch them but you have to be real slow. The food was very nice, the main room is just so interesting and the view of the mountain is unbeatable. On clear nights you can see the milky way.
