Thanks so much for having me has been one of my favourite hostels so far.

This lodge is the only place to stay if you’re coming to Cotopaxi. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

We had a nice steam bath and the view of the canyon is unique and absolutely breathtaking.

I found the staff to be warm and friendly and the hotel very well run. There is a nice restaurant area and good food. I took a tour with the hotel to see Cotopaxi and I was very happy with the experience. They also have many interesting animals in the garden to pet. A great place to stay if you are visiting Cotopaxi.

There is a children's playground and a barbecue at this property and guests can go cycling nearby. We had a great time at the lodge during a two-night stay. Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.
