Great location right on the trail yet still in the center, with restaurants and shops nearby. The room was large with a nice view, everything was very clean, and the food—especially the broccoli soup—was simple but really good. Hot water, a water dispenser, and plenty of blankets made the stay comfortable enough for a hiking stop.

The food was amazing, there was also a vegan and/or vegetarian option. They even came to ask if someone wanted seconds, so perfect for people who need alot of good food. They also have free tee, coffe, hot chocolate and amazing banana bread all day long. The hostel is owned by a family, everyone is involved, very helpful and friendly.

Perfect hostel to visit the Cotopaxi. The girl at reception was very nice and helpful. Very good breakfast and the tour to the Cotopaxi, reserved directly on site, has been great!

Was a bit sceptical of the near 10 rating but it lived up to the hype totally. This might be the first 10 I give. Staff was helpful, the cottage has a very cozy atmosphere, the spa is really nice, coffee was included and they even had artesanal cervezas! Perfect!

Our stay here was fabulous. It is absolutely gorgeous here and while we had to walk further on our hike today to get here, we are rewarded with being right next to the start of the trail. There are many hammocks to relax in, alpacas to admire and cute dogs as well (Axle and Lucas). The hosts are incredibly kind, accommodating and patient. It was really such a pleasure to spend time with them. They also have a Turkish Bath and Sauna which were relaxing after a long day of hiking. Dinner was delicious!! There is a wood stove in the common area which is so lovely and warms the dining room during dinner. The decor is stunning and there’s music played in the dining room that provides a wonderful ambience. They have wine and beer and snacks available for purchase as well as lunch boxes. Our room had a stunning Mountain View and an amazing bathroom with really hot showers! I cannot say more great things about this hostal and our stay, I only wish we could have had a little more time in this magical and relaxing place.

Everything was amazing here! A great stopover for our first night on the Quilotoa loop. Super comfy rooms and beds, great dinner and breakfast, and llamas just chillin about!

If you are thinking about going to Cotopaxi please stay here! We have been travelling for 2 months and this was our favourite place! You instantly feel at home when you enter, the fire on and it’s so cosy. The rooms are so clean and inviting and the food is great. Especially the pesto pasta (huge portions) also the best hot choc ever! The staff are lovely and even dropped us off in Latacunga. Such good value for money, we did not want to leave
