Located on the ground floor of a nice new building (a smaller office building maybe?). Tastefully furnished, spacious enough for a family of 4. We really liked it. The road in front of the building is closed for renovation, but no work is being done, so we haven't been disturbed by any traffic. The final phase of construction is happening behind the building, but it wasn't noisy either. Rakvere Castle is a 6-7 min walk from the apartman.

Kelli and Lauri are both excellent Chefs... from Elk Wrapped in Bacon with Currant Sauce to Mussells in a rich, spicy broth... It's all good! And meals come with a variety of fresh Home-Baked Bread, all served in a comfy, window-lined dining room, upstairs and down. (Check out the wood-fired furnace made from a Soviet-era sea mine...Totally hip.) The area has miles of forest hiking trails, well-marked and well-kept. I was there in winter with fresh snow and a faint Aurora Borealis hanging above the lighthouse. I hope to return in late spring for hiking/biking... and more of Kelli and Lauri's wonderful North Estonian cooking! Terviseks!

There was even a fan in the room, and it stayed pleasantly cool during the hot summer days, which made a big difference. The facilitators were incredibly kind and helpful — we really appreciated their support throughout our stay. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Honestly, for the price, this place is an absolute steal. You get way more than you pay for!

Close to market and good restaurant. Close to small park with pond.
