The hosts are incredibly nice and made us feel at home. They work very hard balancing their small coffee shop in the hotel’s lobby, their boutique hotel (and raising their young family). Getting to know them was great. Their breakfast rooms are incredibly clean.

Barceló Cáceres V Centenario features spacious rooms with light wooden floors and modern furnishings. They include air conditioning and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The pool area was lovely. Breakfast was great value & plenty of gluten free options. Restaurant & bar prices were good. Staff went above & beyond, we were in the town & needed a taxi back but our lack of Spanish was making it difficult. We rang the hotel & they got one to us in a few minutes! Would definitely like to stay again.

Work out in the hotel’s fitness suite to keep fit while on holiday, or enjoy a dip in the swimming pool - open in the summer months. As with many paradors, it is in an incredible historical building. Our room was lovely and quiet and we enjoyed having drinks in the small bar and had a superb lunch in the restaurant. Very good off-season rate as well.

The hotel has been renovated but has preserved impressive spaces such as the cloister. It is spacious accommodation that enjoys plenty of natural light and spectacular views of the mountains and town. Very close from all the sites. Very nice surroundings to walk around and take pictures. The staff especially Christina went out of her way to drive us to the bus terminal : something to remember
