Very cosy apartment. Equipment in the kitchen was very good. We felt very comfortable. A lot of activities in the area.

Couldn't have wished for a better stay. There are 4 rooms in total for up to 8 people with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom/shower/sauna. The host lives in the adjacent building so if you have an issue during your stay don't be spooked if in less than a minute the host shows up to resolve it, really awesome service! The beds are are really comfortable, after an active day followed by a relaxing sauna it feels great to lay down and wake up well rested. The location is also quite nice, not exactly in the town centre, but during winter it's a short walk from all the stores, across the frozen lake. And there's a bus stop at about 50 m where the "ski bus" and long distance busses stop (if you come by train to Kolari it's very doable by bus, I regret not doing so!). Also a lot of cross-country skiing, hiking and cycling trails nearby but be careful and check the map thoroughly so you don't get lost in the dark. Be sure to bring a proper flashlight just in case ;-) And I got to see the northern lights on my first night there. Would love to come back next year!

This was a truly special accommodation with large glass windows extending all the way up to the ceiling, making it perfect for watching the Northern Lights. It was very modernly furnished, featuring contemporary Hue lighting and even a fully equipped kitchen despite the compact space. The support was excellent – any questions we had were answered quickly.

The house was so cozy and well equiped. The owner was very helpful. The location is so chill and beautiful. We really lived our stay ☺️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riekko Lodge near Kittilä, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. Being among the very first guests made the experience even more special — it felt like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of Lapland. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. The entire team was incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help with individual needs. You can really feel that they care deeply about their guests and their experience. As vegans, we were especially impressed. The lodge is extremely vegan-friendly — the kitchen staff offered plenty of delicious vegan options and were more than happy to individualize meals according to our wishes. This level of openness and effort is rare and very much appreciated. The cabin itself was cosy, warm, and beautifully comfortable, perfect after long winter days outside. One absolute highlight was the sauna. When we initially struggled to turn it on, we sent a quick WhatsApp message — and to our amazement, the CEO personally came over to explain everything to us. That level of dedication and personal care is truly exceptional. The kitchen was fully equipped and very practical. A few minor things (like a bottle opener, kitchen towel, and matches) were missing at first — understandably, since we were among the first guests — but once we asked, everything was provided immediately and without any hassle. Another great bonus was the rental of high-quality winter clothing, which made our stay in the Arctic conditions even more enjoyable and stress-free.

Our host was very nice, helpful and funny. We spend a very good time. The room was small but well equiped, comfortable and cozy. The view on the mountain from our window was a plus. The breakfast was very good, good choice of fresh foods. We also tried the food there at dinner and it was fabulous, generous portions and tasty menu. We also had access to the morning sauna as a guest and it was a fabulous experience, dip in the lake for the braves.
