Kitchen had everything what could imagine and Playstation provided extra entertainmen tor kids. Hope to come back other day.

I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

The place is wonderful to spend a few days being able to do various activities during the day. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help you if you need it. Excellent and varied breakfast, possibility to take sauna directly in the lodge. Everything very clean and neat. Super recommended

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. Ylläs Ski Resort is 2.7 km away. We had a great week with lots of snow and sun at the cottage. Simon was very helpful, gave tips and always responded very quickly to messages. The cottage is unique. Spacious and very well equipped. And always cosy and warm at -27 degrees. The small sauna was wonderful. The connection to the Y1 ski centre is great and there are also cross-country ski trails nearby. The supermarket in Äkäslompolo is very well stocked and has everything you need. We can highly recommend the cottage.
