The decoration in the upstairs common room was very inviting and created a cozy vibe. The young woman welcoming us and cooking our breakfast was very friendly and it was nice chatting to her and the other guests in the kitchen. The B&B was a short walk away from several restaurants in the very small town.

It was spacious, clean, cozy, and bright. It had a fully equipped kitchen, and the building also had a ski room and a place to wax equipment. The location was perfect, short walking distance from the slopes, restaurants, and tour centre.

Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

Lodge 67°N Lapland is located in the centre of Äkäslompolo and at the foot of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Free WiFi and parking are available. It is a cozy, peaceful, small inn. The people who run it treated us like friends. They answered all our questions about the area, checked in about how are experiences were, and were just friendly and helpful in every way! There is a washer and dryer, fabulous saunas, and delicious buffet breakfast. We could walk to ski trails, shops and restaurants. We didn't really need a car.

Hotel Ylläshumina is beautifully situated by Lake Äkäslompolo, near the village of Äkäslompolo. We are a mixed couple that traveled all the way from Turku, the cabin was very cozy and warm, close enough to the stores, gas station with a beautiful view towards the ski resort. The breakfast was exceptional!

We booked this place last minute and Petra was very friendly providing all the details needed for check in and check out. The accommodation was clean and had everything needed to sleep (excellent mattress, blanket and pillows), cook and enjoy a good time watching TV or reading a book next to the big windows. Use of the sauna is included in the price and it was amazing to end the hiking day with a relaxing sauna session. The parking spot right next to the house is a plus. Also, the house is located 5 min away by car to the nearest K-supermarket and pharmacy. The Kellokas visitor centre is also 10 min away by car, where many hiking trails start from. Definitely a comfortable and beautiful place to come back!
