It features free WiFi, a 24-hour reception, a bar and a free private parking in front of the hotel. The location was exceptional. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Europe.

The spacious rooms at Hotel Le Bouclier d’Or feature antique furniture, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a minibar. Some have views of the rooftops of Petite France, while some also include a spa bath. This perfect little haven in the Petite France area of Strasbourg was an ideal base to explore this beautiful historic city. This renovated old building has everything - character, history, vintage furniture and modern facilities. We visited Strasbourg during the Christmas Market and while it was only a few minutes walk to the major market squares and the local restaurants, the immediate vicinity was pretty quiet - almost no vehicle traffic and just a few pedestrians, who mostly seemed to be taking their kids to the school opposite. We only saw one staff member (I’m sure there must be others) but he was very welcoming and informative, giving us good tips on where to go. We loved our room, which was very nicely furnished, but also had plenty of power points, a device charger on the desk and the most fantastic shower.

The European Parliament is a 10-minute tram ride away and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Perfect place with perfect atmosphere.

Château de Pourtalès is located in the north area of Strasbourg. It has witnessed years of European history, welcoming some of the most important musicians, philosophers and poets. It provides a wellness area with Finnish sauna and relaxing facilities and which has direct access to the garden. It’s an exceptional location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with wifi the first evening but this was rapidly sorted out.

This hotel is located 200 metres from the city centre of Eguisheim, a 10-minute drive from Colmar. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access and free private parking.

The rooms at the Hotel Colmar Vignes Eguisheim are also equipped with TVs and some have private balconies. Great location just 1mins into the beautiful town - quiet and comfy room with some nice details, good parking, good info prior to arriving. Would return. Thanks

- Bathroom facilities comprise either a shower or a bathtub. Excellent and warm service from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff. We could not find our way to the hotel (the hotel did send us very specific instructions before hand) but we didn’t take note of it - really our fault not the hotel. They were very helpful in resolving the issue and had no problem the following day. I would like to thank Sebastián for all his assistance as well as for the other front desk staff. Great restaurant recommendations too. 😃 We highly recommend this hotel!

Vegetarian and gluten-free options can also be requested. Everything that a hotel should be. Better than home, but homely. Quiet, but in a lively part of town. Good restaurants near by, but people visit the hotel restaurant because it's that good. Super lovely staff who can never do too much for you, comfy beds, quiet rooms, fluffy towels, excellent breakfast with freshly squeezed juice and killer coffee and a shower that could take road markings off - what's not to like?

The property is located 11 km from House of the Heads, 12 km from Saint-Martin Collegiate Church and 14 km from Colmar Expo. The hotel has a spa centre, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. I love the style that they’ve used in their refurbishment. The lounge is always lively and elegant and the fact that you can taste their own wines there is fantastic. Views are absolutely stunning, vineyards as far as the eye can see. The staff were always smiling from the heart, kind and keen to help
