There was a communal area where we could make tea and coffee and there was a fridge and microwave. We were invited to eat our own food there if we wished. Our room was dark and quiet at night, perfect for a good night's sleep. The hosts went to extra trouble to provide a vegan breakfast for us which we really appreciated.
