On a quiet street, Stone Villa is a 5-minute walk from Chester Station. It offers free parking, rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and an extensive breakfast menu. I had a great stay. Staff and everything else were excellent.

A 15-minute drive from Chester's historical centre, Grosvenor has a spa, a pool and a gym. Near the Welsh border, Grosvenor Pulford has free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms and beautiful grounds. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly . I asked to be allowed access to my room early due to attending a friend's wedding and my room was ready for my arrival.

Located on the Parkgate's Parade in Wirral, with fabulous views over the Dee estuary to North Wales, the Ship Hotel offers fresh, locally-sourced, hearty food, free Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. They don’t make a big deal about their excellence, but they are excellent.
