What a place!! Absolutely wonderful! Never stayed anywhere like it.. No expense appears to have been spared to turn a 100-plus year old prison into a 5-star hotel, chock-full of atmosphere and history, with walls of exposed stonework.. the biggest happy surprise in all our travels. Could rave on, but you get the idea.. Charging points for EVs too

You feel genuinely welcome and embraced both by the owners (Margaret and Owen) and by the ladies (Natalia and Louise) serving a lovely made to order breakfast exactly how you like it. The hotel is in perfect shape and the room is comfortable with a lovely view over the ocean. It was right next to the sea. Spectacular views. Unique flair. You could feel the centuries that have passed by this house. Very comfortable bed! Nothing to do better. Host Anette was very friendly & communicative.
