Less than a 2-minute stroll from the beach, OYO Minerva Guesthouse offers free WiFi, a bar, and a games room with a billiards table and dartboard. Located in the seaside town of Newquay, the property is surrounded by shops and restaurants. Blue Reef Aquarium is 3 minutes' walk away. Six of us spent four nights at the Minerva Guesthouse. We were welcomed by very kind hosts, put up in a small but comfortable (family) room and a double room with a view of the beach. Breakfast was adequate and you could ask from a menu. The breakfast area is small, so guests are expected to have breakfast in two rotations based on room number. Our two rooms were not in the same rotation, but the host was flexible to arrange for us to have breakfast together. The house is located 150 m from the beach. On the first day there was parking in front of the house, then we had to look for it, but 300 meters away there is a big parking lot where you have to pay between 9 am and 6 pm. If you are on the road during the day, parking is free. Margaret and Owen, thank you very much!

Location was excellent , staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, very clean and tidy.

Guests can enjoy the property's bar, restaurant, souvenir shop, farm shop and museum. The staff were very friendly and the food (dinner & breakfast) was delicious. The room was very cosy. The bed was comfortable and we had 2 pillows each which was nice. The information folder was very helpful. The room had a kettle with coffee, tea & hot chocolate. The bathroom was modern and had a bath. The nightstands had bottled water. There were many power sockets. The lights could also be turned on & off on the wall next to the bed which was very useful. Very content with everything & happy to have had this experience.

Full of charm, the 4-star Old Success Inn offers bright, modern rooms with TVs, tea/coffee facilities and hairdryers. There is also a guest lounge. This was my favorite place in all of England! Beautiful room - outside not glamorous but inside everything was perfect. Towels, toiletries, coffee service, temp control and size of room - all superior. Very well designed - an upscale place. Breakfast fantastic and all staff wonderful.

One of the best places I have ever stayed in. I felt I belonged the moment I stepped into the place

She was there to welcome us to a very comfortable bedroom. She has clearly thought about the details of staying - the little fridge, the sewing kit. We stayed here for one night while walking the southwest coastal path. We highly recommend Tidal Heights.
