A traditional Cotswolds inn dating back to the 14th century, the Eight Bells in Chipping Campden has a selection of individually styled en suite guest rooms. As well as free Wi-Fi, this inn has a high-quality restaurant and bar with a terraced garden as well as a courtyard drinking area. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms lovely and clean. Friendly staff.

Gloucester is a 35-minute drive from Chester House Hotel. Bourton boasts its own model village, a motor museum, and Bird Land, where you can see birds ranging from penguins to flamingos. Oxford is just 30 miles away. Amazing little hotel right in the centre this beautiful village. Ample parking for guests. The room was adjacent to the parking lot on the ground level which was really convenient. The room was large, very clean, very comfy and big bed like in the best hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful (Simone). The hotel has a wonderful bar and excellent restaurant for the evening meal. Absolutely no need to go looking elsewhere although we were also recommended a great burger place just opposite the hotel for lunch. The breakfast was lovely, buffet style - cereals, cheeses, yoghurts and continental, plus tea/coffee and eggs to order.
